I have to admit, when I heard the title of Lea Michele’s debut single, my very first thought was, “Oh please don’t lick a hammer.” Followed closely by, "Please wear more than just boots.” The actress’s first song from her first album Louder is called “Cannonball.”
Lea’s been pretty excited about her first non-Glee album, if the amount of times she’s tweeted about it is any indication, and from the sneak peek she released on Monday -- rightfully so. She also released the cover art, and wowza -- she looks amazingly hawt.

She looks fantastic, right? The smoky eyes, the damp, unkempt hair, the pouty lips ... just gorgeous.
And she sounds amazing too. Take a listen:
The song is available for download on Tuesday, the same day Louder will be available for preorder. The album includes two songs about Lea’s late boyfriend and Glee costar Cory Monteith. The first is “You’re Mine,” which Michele said she would’ve regretted not adding after Monteith’s drug overdose last July. She told Elle:
The album was done, and the label said, "Do you want to add anything?" I was like, "I might regret it if I don't" ... It makes me so happy, this song. It makes me think so much of Cory. It was ours. When I think of him, I play this.
The other song is the last track on the record, titled “If You Say So,” which the songstress says were Cory’s last words to her. She also has the phrase tattooed on her rib cage.
