As much as I've loved following all that is Glee over the past few years, I think it's safe to say that many of us miss the McKinley High that once was. You know, the one with a happy Cory Monteith and Lea Michele (Finn and Rachel) running the halls, so manifested in the drama that surrounded the New Directions and Regionals.
All my fellow fans of old-school Glee, you should be excited about this major news: Apparently creator Ryan Murphy invited all Glee originals back for the 100th episode! Yes, that's right -- ALL OF THEM. Sure, we saw most of the gang reunite for the Cory Monteith tribute episode. But two KEY players were missing. Two key players who (fingers crossed) are coming back soon ...
Dianna Agron and Heather Morris, people!
ALL The Glee Originals received invites today to be in our 100th episode! More to follow.— Ryan Murphy (@MrRPMurphy) December 3, 2013
After all the fuss that happened with the tribute episode, I'd love to see Dianna back on set with her former co-stars. And Heather? Well, I mean, lady's had a baby for crying out loud! Who doesn't want to see if she still has the moves from the days of Britney Spears tributes and "Single Ladies," eh?
Other faces I'd love to see on the 100th episode? Charice Pempengco (who played Sunshine Corazon), Idina Menzel (Rachel's mother), and HELLO -- John Stamos (formerly Emma's ex-boyfriend Carl Howell). Who wouldn't love some sexiness during FOX prime time, eh?
As of now, there aren't any reports as to which stars have confirmed. Fingers are crossed!
Who were your favorite cast members of the original Glee crew?
