You'd have to be living under a pretty big rock to have missed yesterday's most insanely viral video: James Franco and Seth Rogen's parody of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's "Bound 2" video. Entitled "Bound 3," the OMG hilarious re-imagining of Kimye's eyebrow-raising video featured Seth shirtless atop James on a motorcycle racing through the desert. And it had us in tears. But what did Kanye and Kim have to say about it ...?
Given that they Kanye was reportedly PISSED at SNL for its recent sketch about his controlling behavior, and seems to downright lack a sense of humor at times, I'm nervously biting my nails at the thought of his reaction to the parody ... But apparently, there's no need!
A source close to the rapper told HollywoodLife.com exclusively, "He realizes that not only are people talking about it, they’re imitating he and Kim, and imitation is the highest form of flattery and respect." Uh ... well, they're parodying them, which is different, but okay. The insider continued, “He’s getting to a point now where he expects this type of sh-t to happen. He knows it coming. When it stops, that’s when the problems and the influence ceases to exist. He’s come into the mindset where [he] welcomes all the critics and criticism and all the nonsense.”
Interesting ... and not all that surprising, right? He and Kim do what they do and EXIST for attention -- be it positive or negative.
Meanwhile, Kim has been even more vocal about her support for the comedians, laughing and tweeting up a storm in response. Check it out ...
@Sethrogen Kanye says what's up! He loves u guys! He laughed so hard at this— Kim Kardashian (@KimKardashian) November 26, 2013
Guess it's just further proof that to Kimye, any press is good press. And Seth and James ensured the "Bound" phenomenon is getting even more airtime ... (even if we're all snickering about it).
Are you surprised by Kimye's reaction to the parody? What was your reaction?
