Walking Dead(Warning: this post contains spoilers for recent episodes of The Walking Dead!) This Sunday's Walking Dead has an intriguing title: "Dead Weight." Is that in reference to the Governor, now that he's reunited with Martinez and the gang? Or maybe it's Lilly, Tara, and Megan who are dead weight? Or based on the creepy scene shown in the promo clip, it's talking about something  else altogether?

One thing's for certain: we'll be meeting at least two more characters who are involved with the Governor's storyline. Will this be another all-Governor episode like last week? What happened to the Governor's makeshift family unit? What the hell's going on at the prison? So! Many! Questions!

Here's what we know so far about "Dead Weight," based on released images and the promo videos:

Let's start with the sneak peek:

Hey, it's Kirk Acevedo, otherwise known as That FBI Guy from Fringe! And Enver Gjokaj, who played Victor in Dollhouse! And … uh, a beheaded corpse, who was apparently a big fat LIAR.

Now take a look at the promo:

Okay, so whew, looks like everyone made it out of the last episode in one piece. Martinez got all badass during those months of being out from under the Governor's thumb, didn't he? I take it he's referring to the women-folk with his "no dead weight" comment, but what's the Governor talking about when he says "We will do the only thing to protect this camp"? Does he want to save the camp shown in the promo from being taken over by Martinez and his band of asshole brothers? If it wasn't Martinez & Co. who cut that guy's head off, who was it?

Here's the official episode description from AMC:

A new and scary chapter is unfolding at a camp outside the prison. Will peace be attainable with the addition of new members?

My guess is that this episode will also be primarily focused on the Governor, maybe tying back to the prison in the final moments if at all. (Maybe Hershel and Michonne, who were leaving the prison together at the end of the "Internment" episode, will run into some of these folks?) The December 1st "Too Far Gone" episode is the mid-season finale, so I'm thinking we're leading up to the conflict that will dominate the second half of the season.

As for what form that will take, I'm fresh out of theories, because I feel like anything could happen at this point. The Governor seems to have gone through some big changes, but he's clearly still a vicious bastard. Will he be leading an attack on the prison as we all suspected, or will that be the work of these other characters we'll be meeting? Hard to say, but there's this final image to consider:

Fans of the comics may remember some rather disturbing moments involving a tank and the prison. I revisited that issue a while ago and ... no spoilers, but yeah. Bloodbath city.

The Governor's body language in that photo doesn't exactly scream aggression, but I'm guessing some pretty big shit's about to go down. If not in "Live Bait," then very soon.

Will you be upset if this next Walking Dead episode focuses on the Governor again?
