Amidst all of the heartache that surrounded Cory Monteith's tragic death, it was hard not to notice the former McKinley High students missing from Glee's Cory Monteith tribute. When word got out that both Heather Morris and Dianna Agron wouldn't be in the episode, rumors spread like wildfire as to why the two stars weren't present. Morris was clearly out of the picture because she was pregnant with her son, but Dianna? Sources said she had bad history with Lea Michele and that she had "other plans."
Well finally Dianna is speaking out about Cory's death, putting all those nasty rumors to rest. The actress told The Irish Independent that she has "nothing but love for that show and everybody involved in it," slamming the notion that she has problems with Lea. She then went on to say:
It's such a shame especially involving someone that we love so much, that the good old Internet has taken everything that they want to say about it and spread it like wildfire.
Ain't that the truth. She's definitely right, for everyone to blow a "feud" out of proportion when they were all going through such a sad time, a horrible grieving process, it's just not fair. Sure, it's easy to believe the things that we read on the Internet, and the story did seem plausible considering everyone else from Glee seasons past came back for the ep -- but still, it's just not right.
I'm happy that Diana got to say her side of the story. Now, if only she'd make a special appearance on the show. I don't think anyone would complain about that.
Do you think Dianna has a point? Are you surprised it took her this long to say something?
