Dianna Agron Finally Talks About Her Absence From Cory Monteith Tribute Episode

This Just In 9

Dianna AgronAmidst all of the heartache that surrounded Cory Monteith's tragic death, it was hard not to notice the former McKinley High students missing from Glee's Cory Monteith tribute. When word got out that both Heather Morris and Dianna Agron wouldn't be in the episode, rumors spread like wildfire as to why the two stars weren't present. Morris was clearly out of the picture because she was pregnant with her son, but Dianna? Sources said she had bad history with Lea Michele and that she had "other plans."

Well finally Dianna is speaking out about Cory's death, putting all those nasty rumors to rest. The actress told The Irish Independent that she has "nothing but love for that show and everybody involved in it," slamming the notion that she has problems with Lea. She then went on to say:

It's such a shame especially involving someone that we love so much, that the good old Internet has taken everything that they want to say about it and spread it like wildfire.

Ain't that the truth. She's definitely right, for everyone to blow a "feud" out of proportion when they were all going through such a sad time, a horrible grieving process, it's just not fair. Sure, it's easy to believe the things that we read on the Internet, and the story did seem plausible considering everyone else from Glee seasons past came back for the ep -- but still, it's just not right.

I'm happy that Diana got to say her side of the story. Now, if only she'd make a special appearance on the show. I don't think anyone would complain about that.

Do you think Dianna has a point? Are you surprised it took her this long to say something?

I assumed she was busy working on another project and was unable to make an appearance because of it. Why are others always so quick to jump to the wrong conclusion?

Well she really DIDN'T address it. She still didn't say WHY she wasn't on the episode.

I'm with sweetaspie630, my view was that if she was busy, then at least mention the character or have her call. All we got were that "some couldn't come" for the episode to cover any characters that didn't appear.  Dianna only said that she had love for the show, not if she was busy with another project, or was still in mourning for her friend and decided against it. I won't judge her reasons, we've all had a time when we knew we should be somewhere and decided not to because we felt someone else needed to be focused on, had plans, etc.

Yes we all want to know why she wasn't there. But we must all remember everyone grieves in their own way. And maybe they weren't the greatest of friends. But it is her business and ONLY her business.

She didn't why she missed the episode

I totally agree with Dianna, totally 100% rumors are like wildfire and shes right we shouldn't believe everything we read on the internet. So, totally gotta agree with this. Love you Dianna <3

i love dianna and i wish people would stop spreading rumors about her she loved cory just as much as the other cast members did so she has a right to be in the show but she wasnt which is fine that just means she was too sad to show

Patrice Nielsen

Well, why do any of you care why she wasn't there....its no ones business, but hers. She doesn't have to say a word, she doesn't owe the public anything...shes just an actress, not a role model...She shouldn't have to explain herself to ANYONE....
