The season premiere of The Real Housewives of Atlanta didn't disappoint. One of the best moments of the night? It had to be when Porsha Stewart not so subtly suggested that her ex-husband Kordell could be gay. The former football player responded to the allegations during a radio interview and let's just say his comments were a bit ... bizarre.
At V-1003's Ryan Cameron Morning Show, Kordell wanted to defend himself against Porsha's comments. "I'm 100 percent man," he said. Hmm. Okay. Aren't all men who are born men technically 100 percent male no matter whom they have sex with?
He went on to say, "I don't do no homophobic. I don't do no none of that. There's nothing about no dude that I see." Right. Okay. That definitely clears things up -- NOT. Is it just me or did he fail to actually answer the question of whether he was gay? Not that it's any of our business or that there's anything wrong if he were. He has a right to love anyone he wants.
But if you really want to set the record straight (pun intended), why not simply state whatever your truth is? Here are a couple of examples: "I am not gay" or "Yes, I am gay and finally feel comfortable sharing it with the world." Or better yet, take the high road: "My ex-wife's comments were petty and immature. I won't dignify them with a response." People may still wonder, but at least you don't look like an idiot.
How do you think Kordell handled the response?
