Less than a month to go before Hunger Games: Catching Fire finally premieres in theaters! The movie will be released on November 22, just in time to get your fill before Turkey Day. The girl on fire, Katniss Everdeen, played by the universally loved and amazingly hot Jennifer Lawrence, will take on the Hunger Games yet again with Peeta Mellark (Josh Hutcherson) in the Quarter Quell. Past champions will have to battle it out, so you know it's going to be an action-packed flick. Gale Hawthorne (Liam Hemsworth) and Peeta form an awkward love triangle with Katniss, which also will be fun to watch progress in this second installment of The Hunger Games series.
The recently single Hemsworth stopped by Jay Leno's talk show last night, and he gave the audience a look at the first clip from the upcoming flick. And wait until you hear what he has to say about Jennifer!
Here it is!
Oh man, how adorable is his accent. And it's so cute to see him gush and fawn over Jennifer. He says she has absolutely no filter. "Like right before action -- literally a second before action -- she'll turn to me and ask me if I have sex with kangaroos or anything like that. It's those kind of questions nonstop all day long." And then he clears up once and for all if he has sex with kangaroos. Thanks Liam!
Guess we ought to get back to the movie ... in the clip, Gale tries to convince Katniss not to run away and to fight. It's a super-short scene, but it just goes to show how different the series would be had these two decided to abandon all and leave everyone behind! Their smoldering sexual chemistry is palpable, even in these quick seconds we get to see them interacting, and pretty much arguing, with each other. Shouldn't there be some real-life romance rumors blossoming? Jennifer Lawrence would most likely be quite a different partner than Miley Cyrus, wouldn't you say?
Anyway, it'll be exciting to see what else they'll come out with before the movie's big release. The countdown for November 22 is definitely on!
