‘RHOC’ Star Lydia McLaughlin Gets Majorly Dissed By Her Costars

Eye Roll 0

lydia mcclaughlinLydia McLaughlin may not have expected a huge send-off as she exits The Real Housewives of Orange County, but she at least hoped for one goodbye. She learned the hard way that there is one golden rule in the world of the Real Housewives: out of camera shot, out of mind.

After announcing that she would not be returning to the show for another season, Lydia thought she would be bombarded by well-wishes from her former costars. No such luck. While attending the TV Guide Magazine Hot List Party in Hollywood hours after the news broke, she told reporters that she hadn't heard a peep from the ladies even after reaching out to them directly.

She has certainly endured a lot of cattiness during her single season on the Bravo hit, but this takes the cake. No call. No email. Not even a tweet from her so-called besties. This should prove what kind of friends they REALLY are. Lydia being the sweet, if not naive, person she always is tried to make an excuse for the rudeness. "A lot of them that are still filming are on a trip to Hawaii," she explained. "So hopefully the news just broke today and I texted all of them, so maybe I have a couple of text messages. I don't know yet."

Yea right. Like they don't have immediate Google alerts on all Real Housewives news, especially ones involving their city. They know. They just don't care. So if she had any doubts about whether leaving the show was a good idea, this should answer the questions. She's better off living her life outside the viper pit.

Are you surprised by how the other Real Housewives are treating Lydia?
