Sad news for fans of Gordon Ramsay's hit reality show, MasterChef. Remember Josh Marks? The impossibly tall former basketball star who was a whiz in the kitchen on season three? He was found dead last night of a gunshot wound, and cops say his death may have been a suicide.
This isn't the first time Marks' name has popped up in the news since finishing second to MasterChef winner Christine Ha on the Fox reality series. Earlier this year, he was arrested after a run-in with cops in Chicago. He bravely went on record to share his mental health history after assault charges were filed.
Marks who was 26, apparently struggled with bipolar disorder, and the reality chef was hospitalized after allegedly punching a University of Chicago cop and trying to grab his gun in July. But he's been out of the hospital for awhile, even posting photos to Instagram of himself cooking with his child.
Marks was apparently on the streets of Chicago last night as TMZ reports that police received a call from a woman screaming for help and responded to find Marks with a gunshot wound to his head. Officials have called it a possible suicide, but they are still investigating.
