Taylor Swift Finally Admits She Needs to Change Her Dating Approach

Love & Learn 2

I giggled when I read that Taylor Swift confessed to InStyle magazine “she might need to revamp her love life.” I mean, doesn’t she do that every couple of months by trading in her arm candy for a newer model?

But it looks like she may actually be ready to work on herself and figure out why she keeps falling for the wrong guys. “My friends tease me about the fact that if someone seems bad or shady or like they have a secret, I find them incredibly interesting,” she told the magazine.

She also said that she knows she “needs to change” what she looks for in a boyfriend, and that she wants to “sit it out for awhile” as she gets through this bad boy phase she’s been in.

Honey, I’m going to offer you some free advice that took me a long time and a lot of therapy to learn: You can’t fix anyone but yourself.

So kudos on deciding to sit it out for a bit and figure out what’s going on in your head and heart that compels you to go through relationships like a fat guy goes through a sleeve of Oreos. Maybe they’re all jerks, maybe they’re awesome, but obviously something’s going on with you to keep making the same mistakes in love.

So let’s change your line of thinking from: “I’d like to think if you’re with the right person, you just feel great about things you’ve never felt great about before ... At least that’s how I’ve heard it’s suppose to be. I wouldn’t know.”

To: I’d like to learn to feel happy, confident, and content all on my own. I need to be a whole person before I can be in a whole relationship.

It’s a journey, but it’s worth it. Plus, you could probably pen some killer songs from the experience.

Do you think TSwift will really take a break from boys?
