Cher Says Divorce & Death Aren't Stopping Sonny Bono From Paying Her Visits

Some people just do not understand the words "'til death do us part." According to Cher, who married Sonny Bono when she was 18, but then divorced him 11 years later, her ex-husband, who died in a skiing accident in 1998, is still hanging around, playing ghostly pranks on her. Cher recently told a questioner on Reddit:

I actually think that Sonny makes a light go on (in the house). I have a beautiful chandelier that he makes the light go on when it is impossible, there is no power on.

Well, far be it from me to suggest that Cher might want to look into an electrician. Maybe ol' Sonny is haunting her. If so, I hope he's doing something more exciting than turning the light on (how cliche, Sonny). Here's some other things that Sonny's ghost might want to pull on Cher.

Sonny totally needs to drag Cher's spangly bell-bottoms and platform heels out of the back of her closet and insist she put them on for a specter-ish rendition of "I Got You, Babe (From Beyond)."

Sonny needs to wait until Cher is almost asleep and then his ghostly form can hover over her well-preserved body while whispering, "The Beat Goes On ... and On ... and On ... and Did I Say On ... ?"

Sonny can wait until Cher is cooking and then bang some pans around and yell, "Do You Belieeeeve in ... Ghosts?!"

He could also shake some chains and sing, "I'm Noooo Angel."

Okay, these aren't the best ideas in the world, but turning on and off a light? What's so great about that? I'd hope if I had some ghostly powers, I'd so something a little more fantastical. Like Sonny could paint a giant psychedelic flower on Cher's dining room wall.

Anyway, it's nice that these two are still in touch.

Do you believe in ghosts? Especially dead ex-husband ghosts?
