At this point, there is probably little Miley Cyrus could do to surprise us. After all, she is the person who made "twerking" a household name thanks to the most disturbing MTV Video Music Awards performance in the network's history. But her latest comments about pal Justin Bieber most definitely earn her another WTF.
According to the former Hannah Montana star, she is Justin Bieber's most valued mentor. I can just see the look of confusion on your face. I had the same reaction.
The reason she is qualified to help Justin? "Because I've been doing this shit for a long time, and I already transitioned, and I don't think he's quite done it yet," she says in the latest Rolling Stone.
Transitioned to what, exactly? How the hell is Miley a step ahead of Justin? Gyrating with a foam finger does not a mature artist make. She went on to say, "He's trying really hard. People don't take him seriously, but he really can play the drums, he really can play the guitar, he really can sing. I just don't want to see him f--k that up, to where people think he's Vanilla Ice. I tell him that." Apparently, in her estimation, Justin is not mature enough to avoid being perceived as a joke.
Isn't Justin like way more famous and talented than she is? Isn't he an international superstar that can sell out football stadiums? And isn't she the ex Disney star who now just skeeves us out? Don't get me wrong, Miley is famous. She has a horde of rabid fans. But for lack of a better term, that girl is a Hot Mess. I say, worry about your own future Miley because from the path you appear to be on, you'd be lucky if you ended up like Vanilla Ice.
Do you think Miley is a good mentor?
