Come on, admit it: If you're over a certain age, you're probably at least a little, if not a LOT, sentimental about the '80s. Even if you were just a baby or a toddler, you probably fondly remember some of the pop music, fashion, big hair, games (Pac-Man! Rubik's Cube!), or Brat Pack flicks. At least, the creators behind the new ABC sitcom The Goldbergs hope that's the case.
The new show -- which follows 11-year-old film geek Adam's documentation of his kooky, dysfunctional, lovable family -- looks like it may be our decade's answer to The Wonder Years. With Wendi McLendon-Covey (Bridesmaids) as mom Beverly and Jeff Garlin (Curb Your Enthusiasm) as dad Murray, it's bound to touch a nerve with anyone who grew up in the era of actual music videos on MTV, neon, and DeLoreans doubling as trendy cars and time machines.
