Of course they're going to get support from their fellow actors. They're all in the same business and will praise each other. They're not going to say anything bad! Same with EL James and team 50. In the beginning ELJ said she had 3 personal picks for CG and Charlie may not have been one of them, but she still supports him and praises him. Dakota surely wasn't even on her radar because she looks nothing at all physically like she desribes her character Ana. Sam Taylor Johnson had always liked Dakota so that probably rubbed off on everyone else since it's usually "director knows best", and now here we are with her, so EL James and the team will always support and talk highly of their actors, obviously! Ugh. I'm sorry but I can't believe we went through a year of hype and anticipation just to end up with this outcome! Such a disappointment, especially with Dakota for Ana.

I am very happy they got the roles, I think they are going to do great, and Charlie is going to play Christians role perfect I know it and since he has this chemistry with Dakota he is going to carry her through it just like Christian does in the books. Whoever isnt liking them needs to get over it, they are not book writer's they arenot producers I mean let these people do their jobs thats why we watch the movies. Cant wait to see these two rock this movie and show everyone just why they was picked and well if they dont watch it because they want to act like preschoolers well the movie is to grown up for them anyway

personally i love the people they have picked for the roles of christian and ana. i dont think the movie/s can make me feel as thrilled and excited as the books did but i can't wait to see movie/s. i didnt wanna see all those really famous actors getting the roles, i think it would have ruined the movie. I think once the movie is out and premiered everyone will love who they picked for casting and besides there are so many more people to cast roles to and im excited to see who the rest of the actors will be. all in all, love the books, im positive i will love the movie as well

I like them both but not my choice, I plan to give them a chance but can't say I'm happy.

Not my choice, either...but I'm going to give them the benefit of the doubt. They know what they're doing when it comes to casting. I'm sooooo excited about it, all my friends and I can't wait! We're already planning the "girls night out"!

So far, this production is looking solid. Relatively unknown director but she's an artist. The cinematographer she hired is phenomenal. The screenwriter will take all the crappy parts that EL James fuddled with and remove the cheese. And Charlie is gorgeous AND talented. He brings the the edge that the film needed. And he's not some skinny, vampire pretty boy. It feels like Hollywood has been trying to force feed the woman less than talented pretty boys and telling us that they're men. They're not. Charlie comes off as a Dominant, which is what the role of Christian Grey requires. This is why so many women are excited about seeing this character come to life. This film is going to be huge.

Charlie isn't bad but Dakota is AWFUL for the role of Ana. All her parts thus far have pretty much been her playing a sleeze, there's no real acting to see. I did see her on Ben and Kate but nothing was striking about her. My big issue with her is that she looks NOTHING like Ana is described in the books. She is way too tall, has teeny tiny eyes, and her face & features are very angular, elongated and mature looking. That is definitely not how Ana is descrbied at all. She looks very old for her age too. They can dye her hair brown and give her some extentions but that isn't going to fix her face and body. Total let down with her casting.

I am so happy they were cast as Christian and Ana. I really think they will make us proud and I am so excited to see what they can and will do.

I don't think anybody really saw these two as their Christian and Ana, but vowing not to see the movie like little toddlers because they didn't get what or who they wanted to play the parts? Childish.

I don't think the films will stand up to the books- but that's the way it goes with all novels turned movies. None of them will ever paint the picture as the books do.

I'm intrigued as to how the heated and kinky sex scenes turn out. How will they make it erotic but tasteful without making it look like porn??
