Kanye West Disses Kim Kardashian’s Ex in New Song

Stuck in Reality 0

kanye westThere is no dearth of eye roll-worthy moments when it comes to Kanye West. The guy has a way of irking even the most diehard fan sometimes. Take his beef with croissants. Or the serious hateration he threw Justin Timberlake's way after the former N*Sync-er did a duet with Jay Z. However, there is one vendetta I totally get. That would be his ongoing feud with Ray J. In the latest round, Kanye went after Kim Kardashian's ex during a recent TV appearance on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon.

Performing his soon to be released track "Bound 2," he lobbed a major diss Ray J's way. "Brandy’s little sister lame man he know it now/When a real brother hold you down you ‘sposed to drown," Kanye said in the first line. Ouch. He basically called him a girl who can't measure up to Yeezus.

Yes, Kanye is typically full of himself and hard to take most of the time. But I can’t blame him for this at all. Ray J’s constant attempts to remind people that he slept with Kim Kardashian are just pathetic. His "I Hit It First" video actually recreates that infamous sex tape with Kim. I guess he doesn't think his talent as a rapper/actor is enough to gain him the fame he so desperately wants. But given the fact that Kim has clearly moved on, so should he. (Or at least he would if he had any pride!)

Kanye is just protecting his boo/baby mama. Nothing wrong with that, is there? When Ray J's raunchy song first came out, many fans thought it was weird that Kanye kept quiet about scandalous and hugely insulting lyrics like, "Now the b***h chose to go West." But he did the right thing. The best way to retaliate was in a song that would get a lot more air play than Ray J ever received for any of his own raps. Though Kanye is the clear winner in this round, I have no doubt there will be a retort coming soon. All I can say to that is, "Oh brother."
