Truth: The Here Comes Honey Boo Boo bunch are not the type of family to get all hung up on convention. Polite society? Pshaw! A perfect example would be Mama June and Sugar Bear's exceedingly colorful "commitment ceremony." (Okay, we haven't actually seen the commitment ceremony episode yet, but we have seen pics, so we know it was exceedingly colorful.) No white wedding for those guys! Still, just because there's no traditional wedding doesn't mean there can't be a traditional -- traditional-ish -- bachelorette party, right? Cause that's what Mama June had herself on last night's episode, "Lift and Scoop," and oh boy! Mama just about "tore the f**k outta frame."
I don't know exactly what that means.
But it must mean something about having one hell of a good time! Cause from the lap dance-filled limo ride to shots at the club to the surprise stripper finale (fireman costume? check!), Mama June said goodbye to the single life in style ... "wopsided" boobs and all.
Oh yeah. That was the other thing that happened -- the big bra-shopping expedition. June was perfectly happy to wear the same bra she'd been wearing for six years, but, as Honey Boo Boo herself put it, "Mama's tit-tays shouldn't be dragging down the aisle. A wedding dress deserves better than that."
Wise words indeed! Much like the sage advice of Sugar Bear's good buddy, Doode, dispensed at the bachelor party:
"My advice on marriage is keep Mama happy, cause if she ain't happy, then nobody happy."
Truer words were never spoken. Except maybe for "coon huntin' and marriage are a lot alike."
Oh, how I love this family! Seriously though, the whole thing was just too sweet. It's clear that Sugar Bear loves the stuffing out of Mama June (the tickle fight at the end of the episode, awww!) and her kids, and they love him back.
See for yourself:
