I'm nowhere near walking down the aisle, but every woman knows that wedding planning is super stressful. There's figuring out your dress, choosing a ceremony location, handling RSVPs, making your mother-in-law happy; the to-do list for the day a lady says "I do" is endless. Which is why I can't blame Teen Mom star and bride-to-be Kailyn Lowry for being stressed out. With just about a month left until her wedding day, she doesn't have someone to do her hair for her big day.
Now, this little problem coulda had a quick fix, considering one of Kailyn's friends and fellow Teen Mom star Chelsea Houska is a hairstylist extraodinaire. However, it seems that MTV isn't down for it. As in, the network isn't allowing Chelsea and her friend Landon to do Kailyn's wedding hair because they're also "main people on the show."
Wait, but Kailyn just wants her hair done!? Does MTV REALLY get to make these kinds of decisions? Because, erm, it sounds like the network owns their souls.

To be real, we don't know exactly what's in Kailyn's contract with MTV. It's obvious, though, that she has to clear a lot of the decisions she makes in her day-to-day with the network. We also know that, allegedly, Kailyn is worth $25,000. Yeah, that's a whole lot more than what Jenelle Evans is worth, but still -- that worth is most definitely thanks to her putting her entire life out there and signing that MTV contract in the first place. There's no doubt in my mind that she's spending some of that hard-earned MTV cash on her big day, and of course, that's why they want a say in how the whole thing goes down.
Sigh. Poor Kailyn. I guess that this is part of what she signed up for, though. I still think that limiting the Teen Mom star from having a galpal do her hair for her wedding is being too invasive though. Besides, I'm sure she woulda let them film the whole thing!
Do you think MTV is overstepping their bounds telling Chelsea she can't do Kailyn's wedding hair?
