We heard the rumors. We kind of saw it coming. But now it's a reality. A reality show to be exact. LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian officially have their own show on VH1, creatively entitled LeAnn & Eddie.
Boo? Yay? Barf? I'm feeling so many emotions right now, I need some time to process this. But before I do that, can we discuss this for a quick sec, guys? Cool, thanks.
Now, while I'll likely check the show out on its first or second run, I do think it's worth noting that it's the slightest bit ironic that these two have a reality show, being that they've basically mocked Brandi Glanville for making a career out of "being famous for being famous". LeAnn, although, yes, legitimately talented, has said on numerous occasions that she's above all the drama with Brandi, insinuating that she has better, more important things to do. And, um, remember that super condescending pic the couple posted to Instagram that made fun of Brandi's book, Drinking and Tweeting?
According to the press release, Eddie and LeAnn "look forward to sharing a bit of their world and poke fun at what it’s like to be a high-profile couple with more than a little misinformation out there about them." And according to Eddie and LeAnn, they're "excited to be working together on a unique show that will give us a glimpse into who they really are or better yet who they're really not."
Interesting. Even in the press release and in Eddie and LeAnn's quote, they make it seem like, in reality, they're above all the drama. "We'll get to see who they're not"? That kind of implies that all the bad things we heard about them simply aren't true. I mean, I doubt every single thing we hear is fact, but come on, guys. You totally engage in petty Twitter fights with Brandi, and, um, you're doing a reality show. So let's not get on our high horse just yet.
Will you watch Eddie and LeAnn?
