Uh, wow. The Bachelorette "Men Tell All" special was just as confrontational and dramatic as we figured it would be, and then some. I mean, I figured that the dudes would be total a**hats to each other -- but did you really think Desiree Hartsock would be so harsh in calling out the men who broke her heart? Damn. Girl has balls. (Who knew?)
I know she got burned by James Case and all -- but I'm still not buying the idea of him being a bad dude. Yeah, yeah, I know he had a conversation with Mikey about possibly being the next Bachelor -- but what guy on the show doesn't have that exact thought cross his mind a time or two? Considering he and Des had only been on a single one-on-one date, it really isn't all that shocking that he imagined that scenario.
Unfortunately for James, the odds of him landing a Bachelor gig are slim to none -- especially after Des got done chatting with Zak W. OMG. This poor dude. It's obvious that Des basically tore his heart into a million pieces. Well, either that or he had an even bigger plan to become the next Bachelor than James did.
Duh, that little song he penned for Des tonight was basically an informal pitch to land the coveted title -- don't you agree? I feel like he's the new Wes Hayden or something. Ok, so love may not have "come easy" for Wes, but it came VERY easy for Zak, or was he possibly just trying to make a big career move? Dude. Why else would he bust out a song for the "Men Tell All" show? (He's obviously no idiot.) And Des totally bought it. She was hanging on his every word and even appeared to shed a tear. (Hell. She practically handed him the Bachelor gig on a silver platter with her reaction.)
Wow. Can I get a round of applause for Zak? I firmly believe he's a stand-up dude and all -- but if he wasn't pushing his career tonight, then what the heck was he doing? I smell a record company paying him a phone call in the next couple of days or so. And I'll be shocked if he isn't one of the "finalists" for the next Bachelor.
And even though Des has made some great decisions over the course of her season -- in all honesty, it really does look like her finale will be the "most dramatic ever."
Soooooo ... what does that mean? Guess we'll have to wait until next week to find out.
