I know everyone's excited about the Royal Baby news (at last!) and you cannot possibly imagine fitting in one more piece of joyous news. It's like you're at a dessert buffet, and you've just binged on chocolate cake, and now I'm offering you the banana pudding. But you HAVE to see this video of "Mary, the grandma drummer" rocking out, because she is the bomb and it's the second-coolest thing you'll see all day.
Actually, I shouldn't call her a grandma. Mary Hvizda isn't a grandma or even a mother. She's a 63-year-old woman who's been playing drums since she was 15 years old. She didn't even know what YouTube was until she was filmed playing the skins at a La Crosse, Wisconsin music store. Now she is the most famous drummer since Ringo Star -- or she will be for the next 48 hours or so.
Still, don't you just love her? Don't you want to be this cool when you're 63? I mean, this totally beats posting a nude selfie any day, not that I have anyone particular in mind. As far as I'm concerned, Mary is the most inspiring woman on the Internet today.
Is there anything special you think you'll still be doing when you're 63?
