Grrr! As much as we all love The Bachelorette "Men Tell All" special -- doesn't it kind of suck that we have to wait two more weeks to find out who Desiree Hartsock picks and whether or not she winds up with a ring on her finger? Gah. Why can't they air that one right after hometowns and get it over with?
Last night's episode was such a tease, especially since Des admitted she's in love with Brooks and is hoping he'll propose to her at the end of this whole journey.
And while we all want to see her get her happy ending, the promo for the finale of The Bachelorette in Antigua looks like she's going to wind up going through quite a bit of heartache, considering she's shown sitting next to Chris Harrison sobbing about how she "just wants to go home."
Warning: SPOILERS AHEAD.
Here's the promo clip. Take a look, and then we'll discuss.
What the heck is going on here? What happens that makes Des break down and cry to the point where she's contemplating throwing in the towel on her quest for love?
Without divulging too much with this little spoiler, Reality Steve does indicate that Desiree gets engaged on The Bachelorette finale.
But if that's the case, why is she so upset?
Here are a few theories I have as to what's about to go down with her remaining three dudes that has her all bent out of shape.
She gets dumped -- If I had to guess, I really think that Drew, Brooks, or Chris will decide to leave the show before the final rose ceremony, making Des question the loyalty of the remaining two guys. Makes sense, right? She has very strong feelings for all three of them, and if one breaks up with her, she might worry that she'll be rejected by the others as well.
She can't handle being the rejector -- Maybe this little chat with Chris happens right before the rose ceremony, and she's freaking out over the thought of having to say goodbye to one of the guys. Letting Zak W. go after the hometown dates was tough enough for her, but it's only going to get harder from here on out.
She's in love with more than one man -- Could be, right? I know she's already proclaimed her love for Brooks, but what if after the overnight dates, she's equally in love with either Drew or Chris too? It would be almost impossible for her to make a decision if that were the case.
She's terrified -- Let's assume that she is still stuck on Brooks or decides she feels strongest about Drew or Chris instead. Maybe she's just so afraid that whoever she chooses won't reciprocate her feelings or offer her a ring in the end, and she just can't bring herself to face the idea of not winding up engaged.
What do you think is going to happen on The Bachelorette finale?
