Kim. Kim. Kim. It's all about Kim Kardashian and her baby now, and tonight on Keeping Up With the Kardashians, we saw Kourtney Kardashian turn into a bit of a green-eyed monster.
It's no secret that Kim's always been the golden child of the clan -- Kris Jenner's favorite, and the one on whom the spotlight shines most brightly. Kourtney, however, has always had a special spot in the mix because she's the only one with children ... or was. Adorable Mason and then pretty Penelope provided her with her own attention, and she liked being the parenting expert. Now, here comes Kim hogging that spotlight too.
Kourt was especially irritated when Scott Disick was helping Kim go to CPR class, move her things into Kris Jenner's house, and put together baby furniture. She was mad he hadn't done any of that for her and flipped out on him and Kim. "It’s definitely annoying that Scott is willing to go above and beyond with Kim when he never did for me,” Kourtney told the camera
While it was kind of shady of Scott not to tell Kourt that he was helping Kim, Kris Jenner actually clued us into the real cause of her outburst -- Kourt was jelly of all of the attention Kim was getting. It was surprising a bit, since Kourtney usually seems so rational and above that kind of thing, but it also can't be easy to have a sister like Kim.
Scott went to talk Kourtney down. He told her that he's learning as he goes, and if they had a third baby, he'd be much more helpful to her as well. Kourtney was touched, realized she'd overreacted, and said she was impressed with how much Scott has grown up.
It will be interesting to see how this whole jealousy thing plays out as the kids grow up. My guess is that now that North West is here, there's nothing but love, support, and plenty of attention for all the Kardashian offspring.
Oddest revelation tonight -- Kris Jenner has black toilet paper in her bathroom. Black toilet paper?
Were you surprised to see Kourtney get jealous of Kim and the attention her baby was getting? Do you think she overreacted?
