As the weeks go on, it's really starting to look like Bachelorette Desiree Hartsock may never find true love, especially considering what's about to go down on next week's episode.
Right after she has her hometown dates with Zak, Drew, Chris, and Brooks, Desiree meets with a man from her past -- someone who has the power to potentially crush her dreams of ever winding up with a groom on her arm.
Warning -- SPOILERS AHEAD.
Yep, you guessed it. Desiree's brother Nate Hartsock returns -- you know, the same dude who accused Sean Lowe of being a playboy and was probably the whole reason Des got dumped right before The Bachelor finale.
Yeah, he's kind of skeptical about the whole finding love on TV process, to say the least. Ugh. I know he's probably just being really overprotective of his sister, but let's hope for Des's sake that Nate goes a little easier on her (and her remaining dudes) than he did with Sean.
There's definitely a way to make sure these guys are dating Des for the right reasons but still maintain an appropriate level of respect at the same time -- something Nate obviously didn't grasp the concept of while Des was vying for Sean's affections.
And while it's hard to tell from this sneak peek of next week's show whether or not Nate actually talks to Des's suitors, it's clear that he still doesn't seem confident about his sister getting her happy ending -- even though a source told Wetpaint that he and Des "were in a good place" by the end of their conversation.
(Good grief. Lighten up, man! Have a little bit of faith in your sister, for crying out loud.)
Hopefully things will go a bit smoother with Nate this time around. But if they don't? Des might want to think about waiting until she has a ring on her finger to introduce him to any guy from here on out.
Do you think Nate will ruin Des's chance at love yet again?
