Halle Berry & Olivier Martinez's Secret Wedding This Weekend Isn't So Secret Anymore

Halle Berry & Oliver MartinezWedding bells may be ringing this weekend for Halle Berry and Olivier Martinez. Reports say the happy couple is planning a secret wedding in the South of France, which isn't so secret anymore.

A source spilled the details to Us Weekly, and now we can only hope they'll spill more. And pictures, let's hope there are pictures. According to People, Berry's 5-year-old daughter Nahla was seen flying with them, and what an adorable flower girl she would make.

With their "surprise" baby on the way, it's understandable that they want to make things official before his birth.  They were engaged long before they got pregnant, so it doesn't feel like they are getting married just because they got pregnant either. And as leery as I was when they got engaged last year after she had sworn off marriage, they seem truly happy together, so this step feels right.

If it happens, it will be Barry's third marriage, and we're rooting for it to be the proverbial charm. She and Martinez fell in love on the set of the film Dark Tide, and they've seemed happy together ever since. So now it's on to happily ever after ... hopefully. Some friends are skeptical. One source told the Chicago Sun Times:

Right now, it all seems great and they are expecting their first child together, and all that. But that’s how it was in the beginning with her first two husbands, (baseball player) David Justice and (singer) Eric Benet — and even with Gabriel (Aubry, whom she did not marry even after the birth of their daughter, Nahla).

Time will tell, but we're thinking positive and wishing them well. Of course, it could all be a big rumor, and there may be no wedding this weekend -- it could be just a little family vacay. But based on all the reports and the timing (she's not going to be able to fly much longer), I'm betting and hoping that they do say "I do" this weekend.

Are you surprised that Halle Berry may be getting married this weekend? Do you think this marriage will last?

Why does it matter? If she wants to get married, get married if she doesn't,then don't.
