'Bachelorette' Desiree Hartsock Will End Up Heartbroken Judging From New Promo (VIDEO)

desiree crying bacheloretteJust when you thought this season of The Bachelorette was doomed to be a drama-light snoozefest -- let's be honest, the Ben and James villain stuff wasn't believably gut-wrenching at all -- here comes a promo filled with tears, scowls, and tension galore! Just when it looks like Desiree "feels complete" and has found "everything I've ever ever needed in my life," it appears that some sort of heartbreak involving Drew Kenney and possibly Brooks blows up in her face, leaving her in tears and "just wanting to go home!" (Wah!) What the heck ...?!

Here's a theory ...

Looks to me like Drew's going to leave on his own, perhaps because he sees that Des is really falling for Brooks and/or Chris and doesn't want to have to compete. Or doesn't feel like the connection is as deep and strong between them and wants to be all gentlemanly about it and bow out. But then Des responds with, "Noooo, I really love you, too! This is so tough! Ah! Why do I always suffer from unrequited love?!?!?" But ultimately, all of it will be a silly distraction.

It's been so clear from the get-go to viewers -- and obviously the other guys -- that Des and Brooks are completely into one another. Thus, producers had to build up this phony plot line with Drew to create some drama.

Aside from that, who knows how it's all going to go down, and what all the other boo-hooing is about? A sneak peek clip ABC ran during the commercial break for Mistresses last night showed Brooks getting uptight about taking Des home to meet the fam, likely because he doesn't want to introduce her to his folks as someone he deeply cares about, only to have her choose Chris or Zak. (Though that's just how things work in Bachelorette World, I don't blame him for that!) Maybe that throws Des for a loop, because these guys are just supposed to kowtow to her ebbing and flowing desires and not really ask questions. Nonetheless, more likely than not, it's just another faux obstacle meant to add some spice leading up to the finale.

Here's the promo if you missed it ...

What do you think is going to happen with Drew? Brooks?

Des has played the victim role to the hilt. Apparently she has felt a connection to Brooks, Chris and maybe Zak W. (who seems creepy). I think some of the other guys realize they are being led on only to sustain the show and are reacting to those feelings. Bryden, my favorite from the start, was the smartest of all and refused to play the part. Thank God, Bryden called her hand on the pretend feelings and went home. He will find true love one day. DES, maybe never will.

One thing is now obvious and official. After the Munich and Barcelona episodes the cat is finally out of the bag. Desiree is not what she's been advertised to be ... a devout born-again Christian with strong convictions and high standards.

For those of you not wise to the ways of German beer: The average alcohol content of German beer is 18%. The standard 12 oz. can of American beer is 6.5%. You do the math. In Munich, Des took on a half-gallon of local brew and never even blinked. Having a glass of wine at the cocktail party before the weekly Rose Ceremony is one thing ... what she did in Munich is a horse of a totally different color.

Then during the Barcelona episode, Des had to be "bleeped" out several times to edit out bad language. And it's not the first time she's let her tongue slip. I caught a slip the very first night; after greeting one of the men she looked at the camera and blurted a loud and clear "Damn!"

I have not been completely comfortable with her since the season started. Now I have no doubts at all. Despite anything you hear to the contrary, Desiree is the stereo-typical California fun-in-the-sun Bikini Beach girl and is definitely into the Hollywood lifestyle. I would describe her as being 27 going on 16, with the maturity of a sophomore.

Hey Mike, just because you are "born again Christian" doesn't mean you can't drink or curse. Ps- how do you know she drank half a gallon, and how do you know she even finished that pint? Seriously, that's how Germans serve beer. How much she drinks or curses has nothing to do with her belief in Jesus.

Mike WE'RE YOU THERE?? What does how much she drank or didn't drink have to do with falling in love anyways?? What you wrote is about the dumbest post I think I have ever seen!! You are a FOOL!!

I am friends with Drew, and the truth is, he just wasn't that into her. She was all over him, and he enjoyed the attention he said, but he was never really attracted to her. Sorry, but that's how it was

ok if you say Drew wasnt that into her, why bring her home to meet his family, his sister who i think he would protect and not just have some girl meet her. I think drew really thought of himself in love with her, and changed his mind. Thats fine but dont say he really wansnt into her, when clearly he was at one point
