Real Housewives of Atlanta cast member Porsha and Kordell Stewarts' divorce is getting uglier by the minute. After learning that Kordell allegedly kicked Porsha out of their Georgia McMansion and changed the locks on the doors, TMZ's now reporting that the judge has sided with Kordell and has upheld his request to have exclusive rights to their home.
Porsha's out on her ass ... but there is a silver lining.
The judge ruled that Kordell has to pay alimony to the tune of $5,000 a month for the next three months, give over all of Porsha's belongings, and pay for the moving and storage of all her stuff.
There are still some details to be finalized and nothing is a guarantee, but that's what's been laid out in their divorce proceedings so far.
And from an outsider's perspective, it all seems pretty fair to me. Porsha was a less than sympathetic character on the show. She came across vapid, materialistic, and, well, dumb. She talked about having children as if they were fashion accessories and instigated petty fights, one at a charity event, for no other reason than for some camera time.
If Porsha's personality is the same off camera as it is on, it's no wonder her husband filed for divorce.
Who knows if the reality star will land on her feet, but something tells me she'll rent a house that costs $6,000 a month and will complain about not getting enough of Kordell's money.
That said, rumor has it that she's looking to launch her "music" career. Will she follow in the footsteps of many a Housewife before her and release a horrifyingly bad single?
Hey, if it'll help her pay her bills, maybe an "Amazing Grace" "dance track" is something I can get behind.
What do you think about Porsha and Kordell's divorce?
