Farrah Abraham has gone from bad to worse since her sweet Teen Mom days. There was a DUI, porn, then there were parties, fights with Charlie Sheen, and now, finally, she has checked herself into a two-week facility for alcohol rehab. As much as Farrah has morphed into this different kind of person who is easy to hate, I am still rooting for her on some level.
The fact is, when you watch a reality show, you feel like you know the people on it. It's not like an actor or an actress who is playing a character. On a reality show, you get to know the actual people, and for better or worse, I feel like I know Farrah.
The girl she has become is really not the girl she was. Sure, she was spoiled and pampered and maybe a little whiney, but she seemed like she would grow out of it. And then "fame" went to her head.
Maybe she is coming back to Earth now. One can only hope. After all, let's recall that her show was a show about her being a mom. That means there is a little girl -- 4-year-old Sophia -- who wants and expects her mother to be a part of her life. The way she has been behaving lately hasn't been very "maternal."
As she says:
At this time in my life, I need to stay focused on the positive to get through all of the negative that a DUI has caused in my life. I’m 22 and I just want to make better choices and ensure I can recognize when I am putting myself in a bad situation next time.

This is a huge departure from her making excuses and trying to blame everyone else for her issues. Maybe this is some shade of the old Farrah trying to come back? One can only hope ...
She will be in rehab for 10 days in Florida and I am hoping she emerges in a better place. There is still hope for her yet!
Do you think Farrah will ever get it together or do you think she is too far gone?
