Val Chmerkovskiy ZendayaYou'll have to excuse me if I start to hyperventilate and am unable to finish this post, but after hearing that Dancing With the Stars pro Val Chmerkovskiy wants to play Christian Grey in the Fifty Shades of Grey movie -- I'm having a hard time containing my excitement. Seriously -- I might faint.

And it's not even like this is a rumor -- Val himself actually admitted to EnStars that he'd "be honored to play Christian." After reading some of the first book in the series, he's perfectly comfortable with taking on the role.

Ok, let's pause for a second so I can catch my breath. The image of Val lying in bed reading Fifty Shades has me a little bit hot and bothered.

And picturing him on the big screen acting out all of Christian's steamy scenes? Oh boy -- I think I need to take a short break. I'm not sure I can handle the thought of him playing Christian -- let alone it actually happening. (I'll have to take a week off from work to recover if it does.)

But I guess I shouldn't get too carried away, because Val has a leading lady in mind to star opposite him as Anastasia Steele -- and she's way hotter than I (or anyone else for that matter) can ever hope to be.

Want to take a guess as to who his perfect Ana is?

Rachel McAdams. (Can you blame him? She's beyond gorgeous.)

He thinks the two of them together in the Fifty Shades roles would be his "version of The Notebook."

Good. GAWD. Not only is he into the crazy sex -- he's considering the romantic part of the whole deal too. Wait, isn't she single? Hell, if I can't have him (because of this whole being married deal) -- Rachel should definitely think about giving him a call sometime. Wouldn't they be adorable together? (Not to mention really hot.)

Forget all the other dudes who are being considered for Christian's role -- my vote goes to Val. Crap. Now I'm going to be all disappointed with whoever does wind up getting cast -- because nobody is anywhere near as drool-worthy as he is.

Do you think Val would make a good Christian Grey?
