Sexy Actor Thinks '50 Shades of Grey' Is 'Mommy Porn' So He Refuses to Play Christian

Armie HammerYou might want to go get your winter parka out of storage, because it's quite possible that hell just froze over. Landing a role in the Fifty Shades of Grey movie is something everyone in Hollywood is hoping for, or at least most celebrities are ready and willing to show off their BDSM skills on screen.

And that's why it seems a bit shocking that actor Armie Hammer is passing up Christian Grey's role. He thinks Fifty Shades is nothing more than "mommy porn" -- which is obviously something he believes he's well above.

Oh come on, you know him -- Armie Hammer? The dude who's starring in The Lone Ranger?

In an interview with Playboy, he talked about how his agent brought up the possibility of him going for the role -- and based on his response, it sounds like he was kind of offended.

He said:

Nope. I mean, come on -- it's just mommy porn. I'm not going to sit on top of the laundry machine in spin cycle reading about putting a ball gag in someone's mouth. That doesn’t do it for me.

Well, excuuuuuuse me!

Duh. Of course Fifty Shades is mommy porn. That's really no big secret, but in case this guy hasn't noticed -- mommy porn is kind of a hot thing right now. (Everyone digs it.)

And here's where his opposition to playing Christian gets even more bizarre -- he's into kinky sex, or at least he used to be before he got married.

In his own words:

I used to like to be a dominant lover. I liked the grabbing of the neck and the hair and all that. But then you get married and your sexual appetites change. And I mean that for the better -- it’s not like I’m suffering in any way. But you can’t really pull your wife’s hair. It gets to a point where you say, "I respect you too much to do these things that I kind of want to do."

Um, what the heck? Is anyone else confused? This dude is the perfect Christian Grey. He's good looking, digs rough sex, and he's cocky as hell and thinks he's too good for the most highly coveted role in Hollywood. (And now you know the casting directors are gonna be all over him.)

Seriously -- is he out of his mind? If somehow he does wind up in the running to play Christian, he'd better have a change of heart; otherwise, he'll wind up making the biggest mistake of his career. The last thing any actor wants to be known as is "the guy who passed up being Christian Grey."

Do you think Armie would make a good Christian?
