If you've been watching this season of The Real Housewives of New Jersey, you've probably noticed that not much has changed. Melissa Gorga and Teresa Giudice still hate each other; Caroline Manzo is still obsessed with her sons; and Kim D is still one of the worst human beings ever. So I'm not quite sure why Teresa is saying that the "old Teresa is back" this season. No she's not. Everything's the same! And who is the old Teresa anyway?
Teresa and Caroline sat down with Us Weekly for a tete-a-tete on the new season and Teresa said -- and I quote -- "This season, I think you're gonna see the old Teresa back. I'm happy this season. Don't get me wrong -- I did a lot of crying, too. And it took a lot of hard work to get to where we are now. But I enjoyed this season."
Okay. A) While, thus far, Teresa maybe seems a hair calmer than the lunatic she was last season, she's still as crazy and mean as ever. (Wasn't it just this past Sunday that we saw her laughing about how "fat" Kathy and Jacqueline are? And let's not forget, that was right before she ripped Melissa a new one for visiting her father in the hospital four days after he was admitted. I'm not saying that Melissa, who was clearly lying, was right in what she did. But Teresa attacked the woman, for god's sake.) B) Teresa wouldn't know hard work -- especially of the emotional nature -- if it bit her in the ass. And C) who is this "old Teresa" she's speaking of? It isn't like we saw her go from sweet, fun-loving gal to crazed maniac. She's always been a loon.
I really hope that Teresa proves me wrong and is a different person this season. Despite her and Melissa's fights making for great TV, it's getting old. There actually is such a thing as too much crazy. Even on Bravo.
Do you think Teresa has changed at all this season? Who is the old Teresa?
