Desiree Hartsock’s 'Bachelorette' Season Could Very Well Be Cancelled

Desiree HartsockThe ladies of The Bachelorette are all getting together for a Men Tell All episode coming up in July, and it sounds like Desiree Hartsock, Ashley Hebert, Emily Maynard, and Ali Fedotowsky all got along famously. In fact, Ali called Des "one of the most genuine people I've met." This actually explains a lot.

Des IS genuine. She seems to be in it "for the right reasons" and looking for love. She seems to be sweet and genuinely interested in getting to know these men. I mean, just look at the way she talked about her parents and their happy marriage. It was so cute and sweet and definitely all from her heart.

It also makes for one seriously, SERIOUSLY boring season.

I know we fans say again and again that we want real love on the show and that the show has completely strayed from its original message, but let's be realistic: The FUN comes from drama and drama comes from questioning people's intentions.

Was Emily really interested in love? Hell no. She was always interested in fame and money. It was obvious since the get-go. We have seen so many Bachelors and Bachelorettes come and go, and the one thing that has been consistent is that the more sincere the person, the less interesting the season.

That wasn't always true. Trista Sutter back in the day was all about the love and also managed to make a good show. But that ship has sailed. Now, the girls who know how to play it get a good show, and those who really would like love end up getting dazzled by fame and becoming jaded (like Ali) or bore us all to tears.

So, yes. Desiree is genuine and good. And she will be looking for love for a long, long time. But her show? May be cancelled. The ratings are low. Because it's BO-RING. In fact, I would argue that this is the most boring season of the show EVER, which I guess kind of makes it unique.

See how it all comes together?

Do you think this season is boring?

(1) Why do so called "INTELLIGENT people SUBJECT themselves to this type of trash either as a "candidate" to be on the "reality" show or (2)ACTUALLY waste their time watching this STUPID show. Are people so hard up to watch SOMETHING on TV that they will watch ANYTHING? There are so many other WORTHWHILE shows to watch INSTEAD of these shows.

Ashley & J.P. are still married, and she was very real too - but she did have a douche of a guy on there who wasn't lol.  I admit it, I watch this & the Bachelor because it makes me feel SO much better about my own boring normal life =)

I don't think it's boring compared to any other season. They're all kind of the same in my opinion - romantic dates, drama in the house, someone gets sent home for lying or having someone back home, etc... I seriously doubt it would get cancelled mid-season..people would go ballistic.

I don't find Desiree's season at all boring. I look forward to it each week, to see who she will kick to the curb!

I'm enjoying this one just as much as I have the others !! I like it because Des really acts like a real person. I don't feel like she is trying to put on an act for the cameras !! I've heard that they think the reason the ratings are down is because The Voice is on at the same time. I don't watch The Voice and I will NEVER watch anything but The Bachelor or Bachelorette when they are on !! :)

Well call me boring, I perfer the ones that appear to be there for the right reason. I hate the ones that have the drama. The drama just tells me it's all fake. The boring tells me there is hope for us regular people.

this show is getting boring. i believe the men and women just want on tv and travel. Why not stay in one place and do things real people do on dates. Why not have a season with older people thats looking for love again. Most people looking for love are not as pretty and good looking as the ones on the show. I love Desi last season but this season its boring and she kissing all the men. She looks like she cant live without a man.
