The long awaited start of Here Comes Hone Boo Boo's second season is almost here. Yes, there will likely be more mud-boggin', butter-soaked sketti, and crazy catch-phrases ("You'd better redneck-ognize"), but the family has one big surprise in store for diehard fans too. When the show returns to TLC July 17, you won't just see Honey Boo Boo's home, you will smell it. You read that right.
The first two episodes will be "Watch & Sniff." This will allow viewers to smell what they see happening on the small screen. How does that work, you ask? Scratch-n-sniff cards will be placed in an upcoming issue of People magazine. Numbered scents will correspond to different scenes and when the number pops up, you start scratching.
Sounds a little gross, I know. But no one can say they aren't innovative. As icky as this is, at least the family is trying to mix things up a bit. Can you imagine what your nose is in for? A whiff of Mama June's multi-meals (which is basically a big mixture with all the leftovers in the fridge), those ever-present cheese balls, the smell of that questionable rug in the family room, or perhaps Sugar Bear's Santa suit (he even said it was rank before reluctantly putting it on for their Christmas in July party). The possibilities are endless. I'll watch, but now sure I am gutsy enought to sniff though.
Will you "watch & sniff" the Here Comes Honey Boo Boo premiere?
