Emily Maynard & Jef Holm

Um, wow. He's really trying to be subtle about it and all, but if I didn't know any better, I'd say former Bachelorette winner Jef Holm is doing his best to get back into the reality TV spotlight one way or another. (Are you really all that surprised?)

For starters -- he's watching Desiree Hartsock's season of The Bachelorette. And yes, I realize plenty of former Bachelor and Bachelorette contestants watch the show long after they did or did not receive roses -- but Jef seems pretty into it, you guys.

He's even gone so far as to make fun of one of Des' suitors, Brandon, the crier. Check out this video parody he made -- it's a doozie. (You have to click the little red "x" by the speaker in the bottom left corner to turn the sound on.)

(LOL. Sorry, Brandon, but it's impossible not to laugh at that.)

And get this one -- Brandon saw the video, but lucky for Jef, he was pretty cool about it. The two of them had a pretty friendly exchange on Twitter, and Jef had some pretty decent advice for Brandon.

He tweeted, "Don't worry, I had a lot mockers too...It's fun to look back & laugh about later. Fun season to watch."

(Aww. A bromance in the making, perhaps?)

But seriously, he went to the trouble to make this video, so he must not be sick of the reality TV dating scene yet, right?

Ok, let's talk about another way Jef appears to be nonchalantly campaigning to get back in on the action.

Guess what he had to say about Des on Twitter on the night of The Bachelorette premiere? "Can't wait to watch @DesHartsock tonight! Such a babe & seems like a total sweetheart."

Such a babe, huh? Sounds like somebody wouldn't mind picking up the pieces of her broken heart should her season not turn out the way she's hoping it will.

OMG. If Des doesn't find love -- then ABC should totally make Jef The Bachelor and bring her back as one of his 25 ladies! Oh come on, you know he'd be game for it if the opportunity arose.

And here's another weird coincidence. Get a load of what happened to Jef (as he reported on yep, you guessed it, Twitter) the day after Des' season premiere.

"My life's a movie. Just got caught up on The Bachelorette. Walked down the street to get Starbucks & who do I run into? My friend Neil Lane!"

Holy cow. What are the odds of him randomly bumping into Neil Lane after watching the show? It has to be a sign of things to come. Like foreshadowing, or a premonition, or something.

Yep, Jef's puttin' out all the right vibes and hints that he's ready and willing for round two -- in whatever capacity it may come.

And I won't lie, I'm all over the idea of him taking a turn in the driver's seat. Should we go ahead and get t-shirts made? "Team Holm?" or "Jef for Bachelor"?

Or maybe we should just wait and see what happens with Des. If things don't work out for her this time around, maybe ABC will decide to bring Bachelor Pad back and she and Jef can be on the show and team up and fall madly in love and start a traveling puppet show together. (Could happen, right?)

Do you think Jef should be The Bachelor or perhaps come back as a suitor on The Bachelorette?
