Even though the season is months away from airing, and even though we have The Real Housewives of Orange County and New Jersey to satiate our appetite for Bravo drama, we can't stop talking about The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Between the rumors that Kyle Richards' husband is a cheater, Brandi Glanville's stolen dog, and the new cast member debate, there's a lot going on. The latest bit of gossip comes from WetPaint -- a source told them that the battle lines between the women have been drawn, you guys. Drawn.
Apparently, the ladies were set to take a three-day trip to Palm Springs when things took a turn for the worse. Originally scheduled to all ride in one limo, a second was requested because Kyle, Kim, and newbie Joyce Giraud (we'll get to her in a second!) couldn't stand to ride with Lisa Vanderpump, Brandi, Yolanda Foster, and other newbie Carlton Gebbia.
It would seem like Kyle's on one team and Lisa's on the other, but what's the issue? Perhaps it is true that Lisa and Brandi ambushed Kyle on camera to tell her about Mauricio's wondering penis. It's all starting to add up, isn't it?
And hey -- who is this Joyce woman? There have been plenty of rumors regarding who'd join the cast, but Ms. Giraud's name is new to me. A quick search online reveals she was Miss Puerto Rico and Miss Universe runner-up in the early '90s, and is now an actress and mother of two.
Oh, and Brandi and Kim already hate her. Brandi was used to being the young hot one and doesn't like sharing the spotlight, and Kim doesn't like Joyce because she doesn't think she's all that special.
I didn't think it was possible, but is anyone else a little worried that season 4 is going to be too catty? Between the Lisa-Kyle feud, the new blood, and the existing Brandi-Kim battle ... I don't know, is there a chance that there will be an excess of fighting? Is there such a thing?
I'm starting to think there is.
What do you think?
