'Bachelorette' Recap: Brian's Girlfriend Is the Least of Desiree Hartsock's Problems

TV Addict 5

Desiree HartsockYikes! Even though we all went into tonight's episode of The Bachelorette knowing that one of the dudes had a girlfriend who would show up and confront him for being a dirty cheater -- the whole exchange between Desiree Hartsock, Brian, and his girlfriend Stephanie was way nastier than we expected.

And honestly, I'm not quite sure whether Brian or Stephanie has the more believable story going on, but either way -- Des was smart to send him packing without trying to get to the bottom of things. If that much drama can go down in a span of a few minutes -- imagine what a lifetime with that guy would be like! (No thanks.)

But even though Des got lucky and weeded out one of the "bad" guys before the show gets too far along -- it appears as though her heartbreak is far from over.

Something tells me more than one of the remaining contestants has a skeleton or two in his closet -- like Ben, for instance. Yes, I lurrrvvvved me some Ben during The Bachelorette premiere just like every other female in America. But something about him really rubs me the wrong way now, like he's hiding something or is only in this game to win it and hopefully become the next Bachelor.

And what about the other single dad -- whose baby mama had a restraining order against him at some point? Yeah ... something about that story makes me a little bit nervous for Desiree. There has to be more there than meets the eye.

I guess Des could be the one Bachelorette in history to get all the shady stuff out of the way a couple episodes in -- but the odds aren't exactly in her favor. And something tells me that by the time all is said and done, at least one or two more guys will be exposed as being on The Bachelorette for all the WRONG reasons.

One last note -- thank God Des got rid of Brandon tonight, because that dude has some major issues going on. To be honest, I'm actually kind of worried about the poor guy. There's only so much rejection one human being can take in life, but hopefully he realizes Des did him a favor by saying goodbye now instead of a few weeks down the road.

Do you think the drama on Des's season is over yet?
