Tonight on The Real Housewives of New Jersey, we started out deep in the Gorga-Giudice feud. Melissa Gorga was so fed up with Teresa Giudice, she couldn't stand to live near her any longer and was trying to sell her mega mansion to escape her. Joe Gorga was on board too because that's what Melissa wants ... and he may or may not be under her magical spell after ingesting her menstrual blood, according to Teresa's disgusting theory as to why her brother is acting like he is.
As much as they want to sell, however, no one is buying. And really, what the hell was up with that sink? It was crumbling in the client's hands.
Meanwhile Teresa's dad was sick and in need of a pacemaker. She was at the hospital with Kim "D" when she got a text from Caroline Manzo asking her to meet for the big "Manzo-vention".
Teresa said she wasn't a grudge holder and figured it had something to do with her brother -- ding, ding. She also was hoping for an apology from Caroline ("she probably feels terrible for how she treated me") -- yeah right.
So with advice from Joe Giudice to hang garlic around her neck to ward off the evil and the random thought, "nobody knows nothin', not even the president," she was off to meet Caroline. She said she had no idea what would happen because "women in Jersey are crazy." Truer words have never been spoken.

Their actual meeting, however, was surprisingly calm. They were both relatively civil, and while voices were raised slightly, table legs stayed firmly on the ground. While Caroline started to lecture, Teresa actually made some good points, especially when she called Caroline out for not having made up with her own sister Dina Manzo. Also, when Caroline chided Teresa for still hanging out with Kim D, who set up Melissa Gorga, Teresa pointed out that Joe still hangs out with Jacqueline Laurita, who Teresa feels stabbed her in the back. And back and forth they went.
In the end though, it seemed to be Caroline's words about Teresa's father that struck her the most. "Your father is old, you don’t want that man to die and not see his kids together."
At that point Teresa told Caroline to tell Joe that she will welcome him with open arms if he just comes to her. I feel like he will, and that this actually may start them on the path of reconciliation.
While I hate that Caroline is going to be all smug and take credit for their making up ("I feel like I accomplished something here," she told the cameras), I guess it doesn't matter how it happens, as long as it does. Seeing those little girls miss each other so much last week and the pathetic play date was just too sad. This family needs to heal no matter how it starts.
Sweetest moment of the night: When Jacqueline's 3-year-old son Nicholas, who has autism, said "I love you" to her for the first time in a year and half. All of the rest of it seems so petty after that touching moment.
What did you think of Caroline and Teresa's meeting? Do you think this is the beginning of the end of the Giudice-Gorga feud?
