Bruno Mars makes some happy, get your feet moving kind of music. Locked Out of Heaven -- sing it loud, for so loooooong! And we can't forget the 4-year-old who sang his song When I Was Your Man on Ellen. He sings about love and women a whole lot. But the most favorite woman in his life passed away -- his mother.
Bernadette Hernandez was just 55-years-old. She suffered a heart attack on May 31st and died after a brain aneurysm on June 1st, while at Queens Medical Center in Honolulu. Bruno was very close with his mother and this unearthed video of a 4-year-old Mars singing "I love you Mom" will most certainly bring a tear to your eye.
How adorable is Bruno? And how hard this must be for the whole family -- he has five siblings. Hearing his sing "I love you Mom, you are my favorite girl" and "My mommy helps me with my voice because a superstar singer is my first choice" just shows that love and support she gave him over the years.
It's so terribly sad -- she was so young -- and it makes me want to make sure my loved ones know how much I love them because you never know.
My thoughts and prayers are with Bruno Mars and his family during this very difficult time.
Do you have a close bond with your family like Mars does?
