'True Blood' Season 6 Spoilers: Who's Even More 'Ferocious' Than Billith??

OMG 11

bill true bloodBefore we dive into today's batch of True Blood Season 6 spoilers and such, let's talk about the one and only (phew!) Mr. Bill Compton for a moment, shall we? To review: We liked Bill, then Eric came along and we still liked Bill (just not as much), then Bill got all insufferably self-righteous and we stopped liking him altogether and then he turned into Billith and we were like REALLY?! There, that brings us up to speed. So going into Season 6, I think we're all sort of on the same page -- if Bill ain't back to normal (relatively speaking), we're done with that dude.

Unfortunately, according to former showrunner Alan Ball, the Bill we all know and tolerate love is gone, baby gone. But what IS he? Is he really the reincarnation of Lilith?! And is Lilith ... GOD?!?!

“I don’t want to say if he is or he isn’t," said Ball. “Who’s to say what Lilith really is? He is still Bill but he is something different.”

“It is Bill, but it is a transformed Bill. He is not a completely new person. It’s not like his memories or his experiences have been left out and he’s just a baby.”

“Is he going to be evil? What does he want? What is he going to do? Will he be able to revert back to Bill? That’s for future seasons. The implication, certainly, is that he is more ferocious.”

Oh NO. More ferocious = Harder for Eric to get rid of once and for all! Unless, of course, some other, even more ferocious creature battles Bill ... and Alan Ball did drop some serious hints about the mysterious Warlowe's role in Season 6:

“I think he’ll be kind of a big part in it," he said.

As long as we get to hear Lafayatte say "Creepy spirit thing, why you in Sookie bathroom?" I'll be happy.

Do you think Bill will be some kind of god in True Blood Season 6?

The books are so much better. The show doesn't even make sense to people who love the book series. It's become so stupid.

I agree AlexaAdams. TrueBlood could have had 13 AMAZING seasons if the show had followed the books.

I agree with both pps. It just all went to hell.

I also agree, I saw the first season then read the books..and like the books more. I still watch the show though :-)

I will find out how I like the show when, my 4 seasons, get here, so I can catch up to the rest of you. They should be here by tomorrow. Ya!!!

I read the books first and started watching True Blood reluctantly. I was nervous it wouldn't be as good. Imagine my surprise when it was BETTER.

I think it could of had three to four good seasons. The books went to hell too, and the last 3 books especially were awful. Would you really want it to end with Sookie and Sam?

Oh please, you people talk about the books like they are great literature. They are NOT and, in fact, the last few were total crap. The show is not what it once was but I still watch and enjoy it. By the way, Stephen Moyer is doing an amazing job with Bill. First you love him, then you hate him! LOL

The shows are for entertainment, but I prefer the books. Need to read the last 2. Wish they could put Midnight Breed Series by Lara Adrian or The Black Dagger Brotherhood Series by J.R. Ward on TV, but that will never happen. Too sexy!

If you are complaining about the show, but still watching it, I'm sure the HBO executives are fine with that. Skars has been quoted as saying nobody on True Blood wants to 'stick to the books.' That would be too boring and predictable for everybody. Stephen Moyer (Bill) is the male lead in the show. So I fully expect him to be the 'hero' at some point. Bring on Billith! V'''V
