Like the dramatic diva that she is, Countess LuAnn de Lesseps has been dragging her feet when it comes to signing on for season six of The Real Housewives of New York. We had our fingers crossed that she might just be demanding so much that Bravo would just finally kick her royal highness to the curb, but no such luck, dahlings.
According to sources, she's finally caved, and is going to return to grace us with her manners lessons and condescending attitude once again. Hooray? Seriously, is anyone glad to hear this?
She's one of the most annoying Housewives of all time. From her racist outburst to her shady shenanigans with the Johnny Depp lookalike, last season she showed her true colors. She claims to be the queen of etiquette, but fails to ignore the biggest rule of all -- thou shall not be a hypocrite.
Anyway, we're stuck with her for another season, so brace yourselves for more of it. The only good news is that there's some talk that we might at least see less of her this coming season as she takes a smaller role on the show. She's definitely better in small doses, and it is really quite fun to watch Carole Radziwill mock her right in front of her royally clueless face. So there's that.
Aviva Drescher also reportedly signed a few days ago, also possibly for a more limited role. That means the entire gang from last season is all going to be back together again. A lot is riding on this next season because if they don't deliver something good, a full clean sweep of the Big Apple is probably coming next. Bring it, ladies.
Are you glad to hear that LuAnn de Lesseps is returning to The Real Housewives of New York City?
