There are only six couples left on Dancing With the Stars, and tomorrow night, someone has to go. Yep, we're getting down to the wire here, people -- and all the "bad" dancers have been weeded out, meaning the remaining contestants really can't afford to screw up anymore.
And tonight's double dance night, featuring individual performances and trios, really separated the winners from the losers. We may still have a few weeks to go, but it's pretty obvious who will wind up competing in the final three. I'm going to go ahead and predict that it will come down to Zendaya and Val Chmerkovskiy, Kellie Pickler and Derek Hough, and Jacoby Jones and Karina Smirnoff duking it out for the mirror ball trophy. (Or maybe Aly Raisman and Mark Ballas in place of Jacoby and Karina. Maybe.)
But out of those couples, one duo definitely got a shock they weren't expecting during the trio dances. Kellie and Derek's trio paso doble with Tristan MacManus was hot, hot, H-O-T -- but for whatever reason Len Goodman didn't dig it, which is why he wound up giving them a seven. A SEVEN!! After Carrie Ann and Bruno gave them both 10s? What the heck?
Ok, so I can maybe understand giving them a nine if he wasn't totally impressed with their performance -- but a seven? Really? They didn't deserve a score that low.
And hopefully, it won't wind up hurting their chances of making it to the next round. They deserve to be where they are -- and they certainly did a better job earning their spot than Sean Lowe and Ingo Rademacher.
OMG. It's SO gonna be one of those two dudes going home this week. And unless there's some sort of miracle, I'm really thinking this is the end of the road for Ingo. I know he got higher scores than Sean, but he doesn't have The Bachelor fan base to fall back on like Mr. Lowe does, which may prove to be his downfall. (Does anyone really watch soap operas anymore? I didn't think so.)
Do you think Kellie and Derek deserved that seven from Len? Who do you think will go home this week?
