'Bachelorette' Desiree Hartsock's Proposal Details Will Make You Green With Envy (SPOILER)

TV Addict 3

Desiree Hartsock

As the premiere of the new season of The Bachelorette inches closer and closer -- more and more details about Desiree Hartsock's journey for love are starting to leak out.

(I know, such a buzz kill.)

From reports of some serious drama early on with one of the guys to spoilers about who Desiree will pick -- it's going to be pretty tough to get through this season without knowing what's about to happen next.

And now rumors about Desiree's engagement have surfaced, and if they are true, then she's one VERY lucky lady.

According to Reality Steve, someone will be putting a ring on Des's finger -- at The Verandah Resort and Spa in Antigua.

Gee. Sounds rough.

Seriously, people -- this place looks all kinds of awesomesauce. It has it all. Crystal-clear turquoise water. Gorgeous, white sandy beaches. And that whole laid-back, romantic island vibe that's more than enough to make anyone fall in love and accept a proposal from anyone who asks. Um, who would be able to say no to any dude who gets down on one knee in a picturesque setting like that? (I know I couldn't refuse him.)

Ok, so pretty much every single one of the proposals on The Bachelor and The Bachelorette has taken place in amazing locations, but something about the Caribbean adds an extra element of perfect into the mix, don't you think? (I'd rather get engaged there than Thailand. I'm just sayin'.)

Yep. Sure sounds like Des is about to get the fairy tale ending she sadly didn't find with Sean Lowe on The Bachelor. (Let's just hope the weather in Antigua cooperates this week.)

Do you think the Caribbean is the perfect engagement spot?

Really this is old news.  The blogs have already been reporting that Desiree fell for the first man she laid eyes on, and has virtually ignored every other man there since.  If true, the entire season of The Bachelorette will be just another episode of the Freshman girl getting moon-eyed over the Senior boy.  It would be a breath of fresh air if ABC would add a degree of adult maturity to the show.
