In tragic news tonight, rapper Chris "Mac Daddy" Kelly has been found dead. The 34-year-old was best known as half of the 1990s group Kris Kross.
If you lived through the 90s it's impossible that you didn't hear their hit song "Jump". It stayed at number one on the Billboard charts for eight weeks, and was played in clubs incessantly for years after. They were also known for their penchant for wearing their clothes backwards, and more than a few copied the look back in the day.
According to TMZ, Kelly was found in his Atlanta home this evening, and pronounced dead at 5:33 p.m. As of yet, no cause of death has been declared.
