Lindsay Lohan Makes Another Big Mistake Days Before She Goes to Rehab

Eye Roll 10

lindsay lohanIt's not as though I thought all of the Lindsay Lohan drama would come to a complete end after she was sentenced to 90 days in a lock-down rehab facility, which begins in May. I did think, however, we would at least have a reprieve from the craziness until she went in. She should be on her best behavior at this point, right? Well, Lindsay may be in hot water again for yet another silly mistake.

According to TMZ, she blew off a court appearance for another legal issue. You may recall that she was accused of hitting a nanny with her Maserati back in 2010. Linds reportedly ran a red light and injured the woman, Nubia Del Carmen Preza, and narrowly missed the stroller that she was pushing. It's no shocker that Preza is suing the once-big star, who was supposed to appear to answer questions. Now a new hearing is set for May 8 where the judge will decide if Lindsay will be fined for not complying.

I used to think her situation was sad. Now it's just plain ridiculous. I'm tired of asking what happened to Lindsay Lohan. We know what happened. The more relevant question is when the hell is she going to get her act together. Her only priorities should be resolving all of the lingering legal messes she has gotten herself into and seriously rehabbing her image if she ever wants to work again.

Such a shame that a woman with so much promise is now a euphemism for someone who crashed and burned, someone who stupidly threw away everything she had worked so hard for. I always thought that anyone could make a comeback. Look at Robert Downey, Jr. He was beyond rock bottom at one point. No one thought he would ever be a marquee name again, now look at him. I am sure many fans had the same hopes for Lindsay, but now I am not sure that's possible. You have to really want to change. It's not clear she does. Perhaps there is no hope for this girl.

Should we give up on Lindsay or do you think she can still turn her life around?

Well, really, look at her family? They are a mess. why would she be any different? she's learned from them all her terrible behaviors. her dad's knocking up the gf he beat the tar out of and they found out he had another child while still married to her mom. and her mom.......she's got her own issues. i wish her the best, but she needs a major reality check

She won't change. It's hard enough for people with reasonable families to turn around. Lindsay's has been exploiting her since childhood and is as crazy/addicted/abusive/enabling as she is. I think it's too late for her.

This is going to end with her suicide if something isn't done soon. They need to stop taking it easy on her, and she needs to stay way from her mother. Stay away from nightclubs and other parties, and stop putting herself in places to get in trouble. Be home bound except for work and do it for 3 - 4 years. Get it together and grow-up in that time.

I find it appalling that she wasn't ordered to immediately report to Rehab. I guess the Judge wanted to give her time to party before she goes (said sarcastically). We ALL know we'd have been put in jail a long time ago if we pulled the antics she does.

The difference between Lindsay and Robert is that people respect the fact that he didn't always try to put the blame for his problems on anyone else but himself. He faces his problems and doesn't run or deny them like Lindsay does. And no there is no hope for her unless she completes rehab and complies with court orders.

When is anyone going to make own up to anything? Everything is clearly a joke to her, she isn't taking anything seriously.

People should give up on Lohan, the only thing she is famous for is the publicity for all her failure - past, present and I am sure the future.

She has narcissistic personality disorder judging by her behavior as reported.
Obsessed with self, pursues selfish goals, trouble keeping healthy relationships, lacking empathy and disregarding the feelings of others, requiring constant attention, impulsive, promiscuous, manipulative, contemptuous of rules and so on. If she can't be admired, it's enough to be notorious.
Her parents were unpredictable and unreliable, valued her as a means to regulate their own self-esteem, etc. This kind of family can cause NPD. I don't know enough about them, whether they were emotionally abusive, praised or criticized excessively, gave no realistic feedback.
Three months of intensive work might change her course, if anything can. I hope for her sake that she can do it. It might help if the media stops reporting on her- removing the attention. The media stopped following J Lo eventually, didn't they?

Sadly, NPD is the disorder that is most resistant to change. It must be hellish to feel no empathy. I would not wish it on my worst enemy if I had one.

I don't think there's much chance for Lindsay Lohan. Her brain lacks a connection somewhere. She will apparentlynever get it together." Her upbringing lacks something. Ireally don't think she knows right from wrong. And that's a shame!

I hope this young girl does not end up like Amy Winehouse or and other young actresses who's carrers and lifes were cut short due to poor judgement.  Its almost as if she fell and just cannot get up.  So sad...
