'Bachelorette' Desiree Hartsock's Final Guy May Have Some Serious Issues (SPOILER)

bacheloretteBachelorette Desiree Hartsock is allegedly running into a few speed bumps on her road to finding love. Season 9 is just wrapping up now, or has already wrapped, and spoilers about who Des ends up with are flooding the Internet. Flooding! According to Reality Steve, Desiree's final guy ... has some issues.

Spoilers after the jump.

According to some talkative sources who couldn't care less about their confidentiality clause, Desiree ends up with Brooks Forester, a 6'4" athlete who works in marketing.

The only problem is, Brooks really isn't into the whole marriage thing. Apparently, Mr. Forester proposes, but isn't too keen on following that up with a wedding. He's "not ready to get married anytime soon."

I mean, duh. I guess he has to propose because Neil Lane pays big money for that advertorial spot in the finale and the producers want a happy ending, but come on, show biz aside, there's no reason to rush anything. Brooks is normal for not wanting to get married right away. First of all, he and Desiree hardly know each other; second of all, they haven't even lived in the same city, let alone the same apartment, and have no idea what happens when they stop being polite, and start getting real.

Even though it's counterintuitive, Des might be in good hands with this cold-footed Brooks guy. Just because Chris Harrison wants them to tie the knot, it doesn't mean they should.

What's your take?

Eh, whatever happens, happens.  Not up to me to judge how slow/fast they move into marriage.  I wouldn't buy a car without a test drive, so I wouldn't expect anyone else to either lol.

I was hoping he was one that would go home at some point..... seriously... If this is true then this is the worst season  yet in my opinion.....but I guess I will have to watch and see but kinda scared for her!

Ruth Watson King

wouldn't have been my choice, but now the secrets out there's no point in watching anymore.

Paula Mitchell

He's def my choice, go BROOKS!

Of the 3 guys, Brooks would not even be on my radar. Des says she always picks the wrong person to love......Brooks never seemed committed to me from Day 1. I think Chris is a marvelous young man, and is serious about starting a family &wanting a forever relationship. Personally, the guy who seemed to love her most genuinely went home last week.....Zak. I think he really, honestly loved her. If Brooks isn't ready, she needs to put on her running shoes, and get the heck out of there!shrugging

Frankly, I'd like to see Des gamble the whole ball of wax on getting a proposal from Brooks ... and to then watch him back out of the whole thing like Bryden did.  Let it suffice to say, the more I see of Desiree, the less I like her.  Marriage and motherhood requires a level of maturity that is head and shoulders anything she has demonstrated.  I would describe her as being 27 going on 16.  She's not looking for a flesh-and-blood man.  She wants the Captain of the varsity football team.

Thanks for putting it in prospective. After 8 or 9 weeks of dating. Her dating multiple men, how could a guy be sure of her intentions. I do think Des should have told Brooks how she felt about him at least a few weeks ago. It may have helped Brooks with his feelings. Plus it's not fair to Chris and Drew to be led on by her. It is too soon to propose. Forget the ads...True love unhurried is the best. Marriage will happen in time if it is meant to be. Let them relax without the cameras.

Chris is the right one for Des. Chris has everything good, and they have chemistry. But maybe Des needs to have a challenge, and of the three, Brooks is the guy for that job. Hopefully Des doesn't get her heart ripped to shreds. Chris is the best for real life and the challenges that life has!
