In what HAS to be another sign that the beginning of the end has officially arrived, Bachelor Sean Lowe and Catherine Guidici's wedding date has not been set -- even though initially the couple insisted they were tying the knot sometime this summer.
When asked about wedding plans, Sean told In Touch magazine, "As of now, there is no date. Dancing With the Stars has kept me so busy, [Catherine and I] haven't had time to do anything, so after this is over, we will sit down and map it all out."
Translation -- this little shin-dig is never gonna happen.
Wait, there's more.
Remember how at the beginning of his season of The Bachelor, Sean was all gung-ho about finding "his wife" and settling down and having a family and all that good stuff?
Um, now he and Catherine are supposedly putting any plans for kids on hold in addition to their nuptials. As far as reproducing goes, Sean said, "Catherine and I are both adventurous and want to travel, so we'll probably wait several years."
Several years? What exactly does "several" mean to these two? When I hear that term, the number seven or eight immediately comes to mind. And if Sean and Catherine wait to have kids for that many years, they'll both be in their mid to late 30s. (Not that they'd be too old for kids at that point, but still -- it seems like a long time to wait.)
Am I the only one who thinks something fishy is going on here?
In a matter of a few weeks, Sean went from wanting to immediately get married and move on to the next phase of his life to being all wishy-washy about a wedding date -- and basically saying he wants to live the life of a bachelor. (Wait ... what?)
Yeah, yeah, I know he phrased it so it sounds like they plan on traveling together -- but somehow I'm just not buying it.
If I had to guess, I'd say one of two things is going on, here. Either Sean and Catherine's relationship is headed straight into the crapper (imagine that) -- or he's all caught up in his new found fame and has decided he's just not ready to go back to a normal existence where he goes off to work every day and comes home to a wife.
Either way, it'll be an absolute shocker if these two ever actually make it to the altar. As soon as DWTS is over, I give it two months, tops.
Do you think it's strange that Sean is changing his tune all of a sudden?
