Khloe Kardashian Fired From 'X-Factor' but There Is a Silver Lining

TV Addict 1

khloe kardashianKhloe Kardashian has been fired. No, Momager Kris Jenner didn't kick her out of the family, it was X-Factor who said thanks but no thanks to Khloe as their host. The show did, however, invite back Mario Lopez to helm their sinking ship -- it was only Khloe who was sent packing.

We saw on some of the Keeping Up or Kourtney & Kim shows that Khloe was particularly stressed out by the X-Factor gig. She seemed to be very nervous about the job and was constantly fretting over whether or not she was doing a good job.

She even went so far as to get a TV makeover -- Khloe was allegedly glamming up and slimming down in an attempt to make the X-Factor give her another season to prove what she's got, but obviously, it didn't work.

I feel bad for Khloe, I guess, but on some level, she and everyone involved have got to be relieved. As much as I love the youngest and tallest Kardashian, the hosting job wasn't her forte. She was stiff. She was unnatural. She couldn't read the teleprompter. She was so green that she made me really admire Mario Lopez's talent -- something I never thought possible.

Good for her for trying something new, but I don't think anyone's necessarily surprised she got axed. Hopefully the silver lining will be the bigger and better project she's gonna do next ... maybe she could host something that's not live, or perhaps she could run for office? Hey. I'd vote for her.

Will you miss Khloe on X-Factor?

Hollywood is a fickle bitch. But she obviously wasn't a good match for it. Personally, I think there's much more wrong with the show than firing one person can fix...
