katniss everdeenAt the MTV Movie Awards on Sunday, Liam Hemsworth was on hand to present the first trailer for Hunger Games: Catching Fire. Ever since The Hunger Games was released last March, fans of the dystopian series have been waiting for a glimpse of its darker, more sinister sequel starring Jennifer Lawrence as Katniss Everdeen and Josh Hutcherson as Peeta Mellark.

Well my little mockingjays, it's here, and it's amazing. Mostly.

Not only do I have chills because they've managed to make District 12 look more freezing and desolate than ever, but I'm so excited to see m'old friends at it again, fighting for justice in an unjust world.

However, and I think those of you who have read the books will agree, I was a little disappointed that we didn't get to see any of the, um, aquatic themes that we all know will play a huge part in this flick. Quarter Quell, anyone?

I suppose they didn't want to give too much away, but would it have killed them to give us a little teaser that included Finnick or, better yet, Beetee and Wiress? Just a little taste of the arena would've been nice.

Hunger Games: Catching Fire hits theaters November 22. Tick tock, bitches.

What did you think of the trailer?
