Justin Bieber Visits Anne Frank House & Leaves Outrageous Note in Guest Book

OMG 130

Justin BieberJustin Bieber has been caught up in some sticky situations lately, no doubt. From his monkey troubles, to allegedly spitting on a neighbor, the Biebs hasn't had an easy go of it. Some of it can just be chalked up to haters and hype, but this weekend, he made a made a big huge faux pas that can be blamed on no one but the boy wonder himself.

It happened yesterday when Justin was in Amsterdam, and decided to visit the Anne Frank House. While there, he spent about an hour touring the museum with some friends and his bodyguards. All well and good, but then he went and signed the guest book. You won't believe what he wrote.

According the museum's web page, he wrote: "Truly inspiring to be able to come here. Anne was a great girl. Hopefully she would have been a belieber."

Oh yes, he did ... in the book of one of the most famous Jewish victims of the Holocaust. Someone in his camp told TMZ he did it because he read she was a fan of pop culture during her time, but that does little to justify the pompous, self-promotional nature of his comment. Is there really any other way to read it?

The uproar over his note has been swift, strong, and well deserved. Some of the comments on the Anne Frank House Facebook page read:

Way to turn an inspiring moment into something about yourself.

What a immature and disgusting thing to write in her book! As an American I am truly sorry he went there and did this!

Grow up, Bieber. The world desperately needs more people like Anne Frank - not you. You would do well to become a true fan of Anne, rather than worry about whether Anne would have been a fan of yours.

And they go on ... and on. I'm sure he did it without thinking, but he really should have thought harder before writing that.

I'm not a huge Justin Bieber fan, but I always have had this soft, protective spot for him. I hate to see him bashed senselessly, as he so often is. This time, however, I think he deserves it. I hope he does the right thing and apologizes, and perhaps makes a big old donation to the museum.

What do you think of the note Justin Bieber wrote -- outrageous or understandable?

My great uncle died in a concentration camp. I can not fathom this. Wonder if his death would have been easier if it happened while he was listening to a Beebs song? I'm going to do two things right now, vomit and cry. Hey Beebs, my great uncles name was Tony. I'm sure he would NOT have been a fan of yours, you disgusting pig.

So he goes to this museum that is filled with so much history... and he learns nothing. Why am I not surprised? Leave it to some annoying little kid to be unable to NOT focus on himself for 5 seconds. This kid needs a major reality check. He's Justin Bieber, not the Pope or Queen of England. He has a major chip on his shoulder and it's only a matter of time before he comes crashing down into reality and doesn't like what he sees!

Ugh, does his self involvement run so deep? He needs to get over himself. I'm so tired of hearing people defend his rude and immature nature with excuses that he grew up in a broken home with no money. Tons of people do these days, and they don't turn into self absorbed nit wits. I can't stand him, think he dresses like a fool, don't think he's all that attractive (I like my men to look like men, not little girls) and think his music is only so-so, I just don't get the hype!

Oh Jesus... What an idiot! At the same time, he is 19 years old and most 19 year old guys I have ever met have been idiots. Hopefully he will outgrow his idiocy....SOON.
