After 20 long years together, actress Jane Seymour is divorcing James Keach, her fourth husband with whom she shares twin sons, John and Kristopher, 17.
Supposedly the couple has actually been separated for "several months," and are currently said to be "negotiating the terms of their divorce."
Geez. They made it through 20 whole years together, which is practically a lifetime in Hollywood, so we're all dying to know -- what exactly went wrong?
In classic celeb fashion, a statement was released about Jane and James' decision to go their separate ways.
They will continue their relationship as devoted parents to their children, as business associates and partners, and in their joint dedication to preserving and furthering the charitable endeavors that they've worked on throughout their marriage.
Yep. Same old famous couple song and dance.
But there has to be more to the story here, right? Duh, of course there is. And the rumors of cheating in the marriage are already starting to surface.
According to RadarOnline, Seymour kicked Keach out of their home in Malibu. A source says, "Jane and James have been having problems for years now, but she’s finally had it with his antics and kicked him out of the house a few weeks ago."
The source also adds, "Some of her dearest friends have been warning her about James' wandering eye and rumored infidelity, but she never wanted to believe it. There were also questions and suspicions about some personal items in the marriage, which James always blamed on Jane’s handlers."
Huh. "Personal items in the marriage?" What the heck does that mean?
(Odds are good we'll probably never know for sure.)
At 62, Jane is just as gorgeous as she was twenty or thirty years ago, so I'm sure she'll have no problem finding another suitor once the dust from her divorce settles a bit.
But considering James was her fourth husband, somehow I don't think another trip to the altar will be in the forefront of her mind. (Or at least not anytime soon.)
Were you surprised to hear that Jane and James are splitting?
